Abstract

1,227,063. Pantie-girdles. A. H. SILVAIN. 2 Sept., 1969 [20 Sept., 1968], No. 43389/69. Heading A3V. A panti-girdle of elastic fabric 1 has legs 2 which each terminates at its lower end along a line 3 linking points which lie successively on opposite sides of a plane perpendicular to the axis of the leg, with a sleeve of elasticated lace 4 having a weaker elasticity than the fabric 1 covering the terminal zone of the lower end of each leg. The lace 4 may be stitched to the legs along a line following the terminating zig-zag line 3 or by an otherwise disposed seam and may have an elasticity which decreases from the top towards the bottom. The apices of the zig-zag line 3 may be rounded.
