Abstract

916,251. Toy yachts. TOY WORKS Ltd. Nov. 25, 1960 [Nov. 26, 1959], No. 40248/59. Class 132 (3). A toy yacht has its rudder spindle 3 extending from intermediate the ends of a tiller 1, one of which is hooked at 7 and connected by an elastic band 15 or the like to an adjustable line 12 anchored to a fixed point on the yacht, and the other of which is looped at 6 and connected by an adjustable line 9 to the free end of the main-sail boom 10. As shown, the tiller 1 and spindle 3 are integrally bent from a piece of wire so that the spindle is nearer the hook 7 than the loop 6. The lines 9 and 12 are adjustable by running blocks 11 and 13 respectively.
