Relates to a -(2:4:5-trichlorophenoxy)isopropylpenicillin, which may be prepared by reacting 6-aminopenicillanic acid with a halide, anhydride or mixed anhydride of a -(2:4:5-trichlorophenoxy)isobutyric acid, and to non-toxic salts thereof. The penicillin and its non-toxic salts may be administered as a pharmaceutical composition, using diluents well known in the art.
