915,569. Electromagnetic brakes. KANEGAFUCHI BOSEKI KABUSHIKI KAISHA, and KANEGAFUCHI KIKAI KOGYO KABUSHIKI KAISHA. Sept. 23, 1960 [Sept. 26, 1959; Oct. 17, 1959 (2); Feb. 5, 1960], No. 32847/60. Class 103 (1). [Also in Groups IX, XXX and XXXVII] In apparatus for removing filled bobbins from textile spinning machines and replacing them with empty ones, the operative parts are mounted on a carriage which moves along the spinning-machine and are driven by a lever reciprocated by a crank-disc 12 which, at the appropriate instant, is freed for rotation by a shaft 10, by the energization of a solenoid 53 which releases shoes 51 working in a groove in the disc. The solenoid is controlled by a microswitch 225, Fig. 39 (not shown), actuated as the carriage advances and returns and in circuit with two terminals of a three-phase supply through a starting-switch 156, advance stop-switch 191, return-switch 234, return-stop switch 232, certain safety switches 119, 122, 127 and a master 221 (all also in Fig. 39, not shown).
