[Also in Groups IX and XXV] A fishing net is formed from cord comprising a plurality of yarns twisted together, each yarn comprising a polyamide synthetic fibre 1 and at least one polyvinyl fibre (e.g. 2 or 2 and 21) laid parallel to each other and twisted together, the polyvinyl fibres being exposed on the outside of the cord, Fig. 9. Thus the knots of the net are substantially non-slip. The whole outer surface of the cord may be formed of polyvinyl fibres.
