915,099. Reciprocating compressors. HOEBIGER VENTILWERKE A.G. Feb. 10, 1961 [Feb. 12, 1960], No. 5029/61. Class 8(1). [Also in Group XXIX]. Concentric annular inlet and outlet valves of a reciprocating compressor are contained in a two part valve body 1, 2 disposed between the cylinder 6 and cylinder head 7 and the joint surface 13 of said parts 1, 2 lies within the outer periphery 14 of the valve body. The outer edge 14 of the lower face of the upper part 1 and the lower face 15 of part 2 lie in the same plane. The body portion 1 has cooling fins 10 and cooling-water ducts 9, Fig. 3 (not shown). In a modification radially or obliquely directed fins project into the cooling water spaces of the cylinder and cylinder head.
