912,630. Counters. COMPAGNIE DES COMPTEURS. Dec. 13, 1960 [Jan. 4, 1960], No. 42873/60. Class 106 (1). [Also in Group V] A two-colour indicator drum is produced by an injection process in two stages. In the first stage the figures are supported on legs; in the second an additional ring of moulded material is applied, the figures appearing in relief from this additional ring. First embodiment. A wheel, shown in Fig. 1, is moulded at station A, Fig. 7, the sprue piece 5, Fig. 3, being removed at station B. The second moulding takes place at station C to leave the figures 2, Fig. 6, standing out from the additional moulding. The sprue piece 11 is removed at D and the completed drum is ejected at E. Second embodiment. Fig. 9 shows the first stage of a spot-moulding process in which the sprue pieces 16, 17 are automatically broken off when the dies 14, 15 are removed. Fig. 10 shows the second stage. Third embodiment, Fig. 11. A metal cup 24 receives a first ring of plastic 26 followed by a second ring 25 of a different colour.
