[Also in Group I] Means for detachably securing an earthdigging tool 11 to a shank 12 wherein the tooth has a housing 18 which fits over the end 21 of the shank, is characterized in that a recess 26 is provided for a nut 27 which engages a bolt 29 which extends through a hole 28 in the tool 11. The tool 11 may be provided with a counter-sunk hole so that thehead of the bolt may he flush with the outside of the tool.
