Abstract

911,225. Tiles. WILSON'S CAVICRETE Ltd. Dec. 11, 1959 [Sept. 17, 1958], No. 42192/59. Divided out of 911,224. Class 87 (1). A wall is faced in a random or square and sneck fashion with cement tiles having veneers of a granular material integral with their front surfaces. The tiles are formed with keying projections 9 by applying cement to a shaped rubber sheet and then by applying two successive layers of a wet and then a dry granular material to the soft cement. The slab is grooved to facilitate breakage into bevel edged tiles. The granular material which may also be used for pointing the tiled wall comprises various natural minerals or synthetic resin granules. The tiles may be curved for application to a pillar.
