A tractor-trailer combination comprises draw-bar arms 2 pivoted to the tractor axle casing on pins 4 which may be beneath and in advance of the axle centre, a housing 5 supporting a vertical shaft 16 pinned at 18 and contained in bearings 14, 15 mounted on a stirrup 13 attached to an extension 12 .of the trailer chassis, and horizontal shafts 19, 20, also pinned in the housing 5 and which abut the shaft 16 and are contained in bearings 10, 11 mounted on the arm structure 2. The arms are thus connected through a cruciform shaft arrangement with the extension arm 12 of the trailer. The shafts may be lubricated through ducts 21.
