811,601. Couplings; trailers. BIGET, S. Nov. 29, 1956 [Dec. 1, 1955, April 27, 1956, Nov. 10, 1956], No. 36585/56. Classes 103(5) and 108(1) A trailer having a cut-away front portion 4 is provided with a towing connection 6 which co-operates with a ball 10 carried over the car roof and in front of the rear axle. The ball 10 is mounted on an arch 12 clamped to the drip moulding 13, tractive forces being taken by diverging struts 21, 22 which are connected by means of the boot hinge pins to struts 25, 26 secured to chassis longitudinals 31, 32.
