909,817. Capacitors. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES Ltd. April 21, 1961, No. 14569/61. Class 37. In a roll-type capacitor having an electrode assembly wound on a tubular core, connection to an electrode at one (or both) end is made by a terminal comprising a formed wire, a portion of which is inserted into and corrugated so as to press outwards resiliently against the internal surface of the core, the two ends 12, 13 of the wire extending from the coil at said end of the assembly and one of said ends 13 being connected electrically to said one electrode. The terminal wire may have the forms indicated in Figs. 5 or 6, the corrugations effecting anchoring within the tubular core.
