909,141. Parking motor cars; roller conveyers. FEA, M. M. T. Dec. 23, 1960 [Jan. 5, 1960], No. 376/60. Classes 78 (1) and 78 (4). An aid to parking motor cars is provided by a set of rollers 1 (Fig. 1) joined by links 2. The bearings 3 (Fig. 2) of the rollers preferably have play in holes 4 in the links so that the rollers can take up the inclined position shown in Fig. 2; this is said to permit the rear end of a car to be swung round under power from the engine while the front wheels are chocked. The rollers may be graded so that the larger rollers 1A are at one end and the smaller rollers 1B at the other. The rollers may be tapered or shaped to provide grooves to retain the tyres of a car, and are preferably of wood.
