An apparatus for straightening a disc mounted in a plane substantially perpendicular to a predetermined axis and including rollers extending generally radially with respect to said axis and engageable with opposite sides of the disc at offset locations also includes first and second body members presenting bearing surfaces engaging and supporting rollers at opposite sides of the disc, said body members and the rollers being rotatable relative to each other around said axis, and first and second cage members respectively associated with and rotatable relative to said first and second body members for retaining rollers at opposite sides of the disc against said body members while presenting portions of the rollers for engagement with the disc. A warped disc 28 having splined washers secured at opposite sides thereof is held against rotation on a splined ring 86 secured to one end of a non-rotary hydraulic ram 20. The disc 28 is straightened by the flexing action of four upper rollers 42 and four offset lower rollers 74, frictionally driven around the disc by the rotation of frusto-conical bearing surfaces 38, 70 formed on body members 34, 58, rotated by a shaft 18, fingers 90 on the body 34 engaging fingers 92 on the body 58 to drive the latter. The rollers 42 are spaced by a cage 44 and the rollers 74 by a cage 76, interengaging fingers 96, 94 on the cages ensuring their proper relative positions. The body member 58 is rotatably supported on the ram 20 which is raised to position the disc until the desired pressure between the disc and the rollers has been attained.
