Abstract

908,458. Vehicle bodies. PRESSED STEEL CO. Ltd. June 7, 1961 [June 8, 1960], No. 20067/60. Class 108(1). The roof structure 18 of a saloon body is supported at the rear by the rear body structure and intermediate its ends by a pair of posts or struts 16 attached to the floor structure inboard of the sides and extending forwardly and outwardly to a roof cross-member 17. Forward view is obstructed only by window sealing strips 25. Preferably the struts 16 are padded and form part of a fixed seat structure 12, adjustable pedals 14 and steering column 15 being provided. Specification 813,923 is referred to.
