A vehicle body frame structure comprises two longitudinally disposed substantially U- shaped members 1 held in spaced relationship by cross members 3, 4 and two further U-shaped members 5 secured to the upwardly presented arms of the members 1. The roof members 5 may be connected by. cross member 6 or they may be bent inwardly and joined along the central longitudinal plane of the vehicle. The U-shaped roof members may be disposed transversely at the front and rear of the vehicle.
