Abstract

908,253. Pencil-sharpeners. MINITONE ELECTRONICS Inc. June 21, 1961 [July 19, 1960], No. 22447/61. Class 146 (3). A modified mounting of the cutter head assembly 30 to the receptacle cover 13 is provided for the battery-operated pencil sharpener disclosed in Specification 905,442. A floating type mounting means 50 of a resilient sheet material comprises a ring portion 51 having aligned inwardly arms 52 and 53 which are connected by rivets 54 and 55 respectively to the cover 13. Two inwardly extending arms 60 and 61 at right angles to arms 52 and 53 connect the ring 51 to the cutter assembly 30 by means of a U-shaped spring 40. Mounting in this manner enables the cutting assembly 30 to have limited universal movement with respect to the cover 13.
