907,376. Relays partly electromagnetic. GEIGY A.G; J. R. Oct. 29, 1958 [Oct. 30, 1957], No. 33805/57. Class 38 (5). [Also in Group XXXVI] A relay for use in an automatic titration system (see Group XXXVI) comprises a moving- coil movement 101 controlling the position of an armature 102 and two electromagnets PDM, PMM separated from the middle positions of the armature by magnetic shields 103, 104. Assuming that the electromagnets are energized, when the deflector is sufficient to bring the armature through the gap in one of the shields, the armature flies over to the associated electromagnet and closes the contacts on that side. When, however, the electromagnet is not energized, the contact is not closed however strongly the moving coil movement is energized.
