Abstract

905,179. Screening apparatus. HEWITTROBINS INTERNATIONAL S.A. March 30, 1961, No. 11688/61. Class 117. A vibratory screen has a screen deck comprising longitudinally extending rods 16 with their ends removably secured in transverse elongated resilient supporting members 17 with spaced lugs 20, Fig. 3, which are resiliently held in holders 24, 25, Figs. 4 and 5, mounted on transverse members 13, 14. The members 17 and holders 24, 25 may be of rubber, and the spaced lugs 20 with enlarged heads 22 may also be of rubber but of greater rigidity; the members 17 and the lugs are flexible in a vertical plane to facilitate the withdrawal of the lugs from the holders. The rods may be upwardly flexed by a transverse member 29 of rubber or the like with spaced indentations to receive the rods; the member embraces a bracket 32 carried by a support 15, and is secured by bolts.
