Abstract

904,058. Catamenial appliances. TRESCHIC Ltd. Oct. 6, 1960 [Oct. 6, 1959], No. 33838/59. Class 81 (2). Sanitary knickers have attached at or just below the waist extensible strip-like securing means for each end of a pad, at least one securing means being adjustable in length. The securing means comprise V-shaped loops 13, 15, or simple elastic strips (not shown) attached to the waist of the garment. The rear loop 13 carries a hook 14 for receiving a sanitary pad loop. An elastic strip 16, carrying a pad loop receiving hook, is attached to the front V-shaped loop and carries a hook 17 at its free end and co-operating bars 18 so that it may be folded back on itself and secured to adjust the overall length of the securing means. The crutch portion has a protective lining 12 which may have pockets (not shown) at each end for receiving the ends of the pad, the pad loops extending through slits or open ends in the pockets.
