Abstract

902,477. Spray-producers. CHINA CAN CO. (H. K.) Ltd. July 28, 1959 [Aug. 5, 1958], No. 25036/58. Class 69 (3). The forward end of the pump cylinder 12 of a hand-operated pump type sprayer is closed by a disc 13 and carries a cap 15 which supports a liquid container, not shown, from the lower part of which extends a small-bore tube 16 feeding a spray jet 20 secured to a hollow dome-like part 17. On reciprocation of the pump piston 10 compressed air is fed through a one-way valve assembly 19 to the liquid container, and air passes from the container through a passage 18 and flows continuously through the jet 20 to provide a continuous spray. The arrangement of cap and cylinder is such that with the cylinder horizontal the container will be tilted rear wardly.
