Abstract

901,484. Buildings. TERRAPIN Ltd. July 28, 1959 [Dec. 18, 1958], No. 40859/58. Class 20 (1). A collapsible structure comprises a rectangular roof member 13 supported on a floor member 10 by four uprights 11 pivoted to the roof member at 22, the roof member 13 being at least twice the length of the uprights 11. The roof member 13 comprises side and end walls 18, 16 and a roof 15. For transportation, the uprights are collapsed within the roof member 13 which is then secured to the floor member 10 by bolting together two brackets 27, 29. The collapsed structure is lifted by rings 31 on bars 30 joining the brackets 27. The uprights 11 may have wheels on their lower ends and, when erected, are secured to the floor member 10 by screwed plates. Specifications 795,975, 901,483 and 901,485 are referred to.
