Abstract
900,739. Pipe joints. NEUE ARGUS G.m.b.H. Dec. 20, 1960 [Feb. 10, 1960], No. 43780/60. Class 99(1). In a hose connection wherein the hose end 3 is held fast in the annular space between a hose socket 1 which is internally screwthreaded and a hose nipple 2 which is adapted to be screwed into the socket and into the hose bore, the socket 1 has a head portion, which serves either for rotary fastening to a union nut or for screwing to a connecting part and is provided with annular ribs 4 having screw threading thereon between which is an annular groove 5 for accommodating a wire pin serving to hold a union nut on the socket. As shown in Fig. 5, the openedend of a tube 9 is clamped between the conical surface of a nut 6, which is screwed on to the ribs 4, and the nipple head 2<SP>1</SP>.
