899,437. Belting fabric. BRITISH BELTING & ASBESTOS Ltd. Nov. 21, 1960 [Nov. 11, 1959], No. 38230/59. Addition to 706,403. Class 142(4) A two or three ply belting fabric woven from yarns treated with a polyvinyl compound as described in the parent Specification, has the face and back plies 4, 5 woven 3-and-3 warp rib. In a two-ply fabric, binder warp threads 3 pass over two picks 2a of the face ply and under two picks 2c of the back ply separated by an intervening column of picks 2b; in a three-ply fabric, separate binder warp threads similarly join the face and back plies to the middle ply. Stuffer warp threads may be incorporated in the fabrics.
