Abstract
899,411. Ornamental sheets. PILKINGTON BROS. Ltd. Feb. 6, 1961 [Feb. 23, 1960], No. 4426/61. Addition to 810,579. Class 20(3) [Also in Group XXIII] Glass sheets for mural decoration are produced by cleavage of a sheet of glass, having two parallel polished surfaces, in a medial plane parallel to the faces of the sheet, as in the parent Specification and applying a light diffusing opaque coating to a face in the plane of cleavage to form a coated half sheet. Varnish, paint or enamel may be used, either white or coloured. It is stated that the undulations on the cleaved surface are no longer visible.
