Class 52(1) A castor has a vertically swivelling member with body part 5 incorporating a screw tapped socket 6 to receive a boss 7 extending from an arm 8 swingable in a vertical plane and carrying a castor wheel 14, the boss 7 being furnished with a rectangular aperture 7b to receive one end of a stack of torsion spring plates 9 the other end of which is received in a rectangular aperture 5a in member 5. A stop 12 limits movement of arm 8 under excessive loads.
