Class 52(1) A castor for trolleys &c. can be held in a trailing position by the engagement of a spring pressed ball or plunger 4, carried in a housing 3 on a plate 2, with a part-spherical recess 5 in a part 6 of the wheel fork 7. Interengagement of the ball and recess is under the control of an adjusting nut 8.
