Abstract
894,000. Transformer arrangements. BRENTFORD TRANSFORMERS Ltd. April 5, 1960, No. 12085/60. Addition to 851,004. Class 38 (4). In an arrangement as disclosed in the parent Specification, wherein a voltage regulator supplies a transformer having two input windings, a separate output winding is rendered unnecessary by placing one input winding 10 in series with the load. By this means the voltage at load terminals S, N may be twice that across supply terminals L, N and the regulator rating may be half that of the load. In another arrangement (Fig. 1, not shown), the maximum load voltage is the same as the supply voltage but the load current is twice that of the regulator current. A 3-phase arrangement giving constant phase displacement is described in the Specification.
