Class 120(2) A drafting frame cleaning device comprises an endless cleaning cloth 3 passing over two guide means 5, 6 spaced apart, and a freely rotatable pressure roller 10 arranged between the guide means to press the cloth 3 against a drafting feed roller G thereby imparting a frictional drive to the cloth. In the embodiment shown the guide 5 is a wooden roller and the guide 6 a wooden semi-cylindrical member. They are carried between two longitudinal members 1 spaced apart by transverse members 2. A cloth tensioning arrangement 7 deflects the cloth against the rollers H. The pressure roller 10 is supported on spring loaded pivot pins 11 which can be engaged in any of the slots 13. Alternatively the roller 10 may be supported in spring clips slidable along members 1 and engageable in notches therein. The rollers 10 may also be adjustable in a vertical direction and in other embodiments two and three pressure rollers are provided.
