Abstract

891,258. Roll holders; packaging. MINNESOTA MINING & MANUFACTURING CO. Jan. 22, 1960 [Jan. 29, 1959], No. 2417/60. Classes 18 and 94(1). A box for a roll of strip material wound upon a hollow core 10 comprises a panel 2 and a roll holding structure which is in the form of a tongue 7 part of which overlies the panel 2 and having a folded portion extending through an opening 8 and comprising panels 11, 11a, 12, the free edges of the panels 11, 11a bearing against the inner surface of the core 10. The panel 12 lies against a panel 3 of the box and has ears 14 to maintain the tongue 7 in position. A tab 13 is adhered to the panel 2.
