A spool A of buttons or the like B mounted on a strip 5 and which may be as described in Specification 763,312 is contained in a box having at one corner an exit slot 13 through which the strip may be withdrawn, to and opening 8 in at least one side 7 whereby the spool may be rewound by hand. A flap 14 is folded back into the box at the exit slot 13 to serve as a brake to prevent the strip falling back into the box.
