Class 141 A legging comprises separate upper and lower parts 2, 3 overlapping just below the wearer's knee and provided with one or more ventilation apertures between the overlapping portions. In Fig. 3, the top edge of the calf part 3 is connected to the thigh part by a gauze strip 7 and a strip 6 of P.V.C. &c. In a modification the gauze strip is omitted, and slots, eyelets &c. are provided in the overlapped portion of the calf part 3. The overlapping portions are connected by spaced rows of stitching 11. The ventilating portion may extend wholly or partly round the legging and may comprise two separate ventilation apertures.
