887,331. Foot cushioning pads. SCHOLL MFG. CO. Ltd. June 4, 1958 [Nov. 27, 1957], No. 17921/58. Class 81 (2). A foot cushioning pad is made from a blank comprising two broad crescent-shaped body parts joined by a narrow strip and the body parts are superimposed on each other and secured together so that the strip forms a toe loop. In its simplest form the two body parts 11, 12 are joined by the strip 14 and are made from synthetic foam material having a perforated coating of plastic film on one side. The parts 11, 12 are bent round so that one lies over the other and they are secured together by adhesive, leaving the strip 14 in an approximately circular form as the toe loop. In other forms, the body parts may have holes to accommodate a corn or an additional pad may be formed at an intermediate point along the connecting strip. Specification 887,330 is referred to.
