886,835. Rectilinear-motion bearings. JORGENSEN, E. R. March 16, 1959, No. 9021/59. Class 12 (1). A rectilinear-motion bearing comprises inner and outer cylindrical members 5, 6 between which rollers 8 are disposed and located by a cage 7, each roller having a central concave portion 9, adapted to roll on the inner member 5, and convex end portions 10, adapted to roll on the inner cylindrical surface of the outer member 6. The rollers are spaced by truncated cylindrical members 11. The ends of the rollers may be pointed, curved, formed with a pintle, or a recess for a pintle, and the roller may have a through bore.
