[Also in Group XXVI] Reheat combustion equipment for a jetpropulsion engine comprises fuel injector means in a jet pipe or a by-pass pipe, an annular angle section combustion stabilizing gutter mounted with its apex facing upstream, each limb of the gutter having two rows of staggered apertures. An annular manifold 14 is supplied with reheat fuel via pipes 15, 16. The rows of apertures in the gutter 17 which are close to the downstream edges thereof are considered to break up a helical pressure wave formed during reheat, thereby reducing " reheat screech."
