Abstract

885,140. Endless track vehicles. RANDACK, O. Oct. 13, 1960, No. 35029/60. Class 79(1). [Also in Group XXV] A swivel pin 5 for connecting adjacent links in a tractor track comprises an end portion 6 tapered outwardly towards the end at an angle of about 1 degree, the tapered portion being knurled, the root diameter of the knurling being constant or decreasing towards the end of the pin. The pin has integral domed end striking portions 8 and is passed through a bush 3 and is driven into bearing eyelets 4 of a track link 2 of a pair of adjacent links 1 and 2. A spacing washer 10 is provided.
