Abstract

A curable composition contains a polyepoxide and lithium borofluoride. The preferred polyepoxides are polyglycidyl polyethers of organic dihydric compounds, e.g. epichlorhydrin/bis phenol A. Optional additives include epoxidized soya bean oil, phenyl glycidyl ether, TiO2, ZnO, methyl ethyl ketone, butanol, dibutylphthalate, di-2-methoxy ethyl phthalate and tricresyl phosphate. Uses: Coatings; films; moulding; fillers; solders.
