884,118. Surgical suction apparatus. DRAGER, O. H., [trading as DRAGERWERK, H. & B. DRAGER]. Sept. 30, 1960 [Oct. 2, 1959], No. 33742/60. Class 81 (2). A device for use in withdrawing mucous from a person's respiratory passages, prior to resuscitation, comprises a container 1, preferably of glass or synthetic resin, having a withdrawal catheter 2 leading into it and having a mouthpiece 4 connected to an outlet 3. The mouthpiece is preferably of natural or synthetic rubber and has a plate-like extension 5 which fits between the operator's teeth and lips.
