Abstract

The curing of non-sulphur-modified polychloroprene or polychloroprene-base elastomers is accelerated by the use of N,N1-difurfuryl thiourea. The accelerator may be used in amount up to 5% of the rubber, preferably from 0,2 to 2%. The curing agent may be zinc or magnesium oxides, or a mixture of both, and up to 10% of an inert diluent may also be present, as may the usual compounding ingredients.
