Abstract

883,542. Container closures. ANKNEY, R. W. Jan. 20, 1960 [Jan. 20, 1959], No. 2091/60. Class 125(3). A cap 11 for a container comprises a plate of plastics material provided with a removable tab portion 20 defined by score lines 16 which are broken to provide pins 19 about which the tab can be rotated. A disc 14 is rotatably mounted on the plate and has a large opening 26 through which the tab 20 can be removed. The disc is also provided with a series of small apertures 27 which may be brought into register with a dispensing aperture in the plate, lugs 22 on the cap co-operating with detents in the disc to hold the disc in the dispensing position.
