Abstract

869,398. Pouring devices. METAL BOX CO. Ltd. Feb. 24, 1960 [June 29, 1959], No. 22319/59. Classes 66 and 125(3). A pouring device comprises a grommet 3 in which slides a spout 6 provided with a closure element 9 connected to the grommet 3 by a tear-strip 10. Shoulders 7, 8 are provided on the spout to engage with the grommet after the strip 10 has been torn away. The device is secured to a container by means of a flange 2 which engages shoulders 4, 5 formed on the grommet.
