Abstract

882,911. Propelling vehicles. BADE & CO. G.m.b.H. June 25, 1958 [May 5, 1958], No. 20337/58. Class 79(3). A walking frame for transporting drill rigs, &c. over rough ground comprises a pair of relatively reciprocating frames 1, 2, Fig. 2, having feet 3, 4 which are alternately engagable with the ground so that one or other frame rests in turn on the ground while the other frame moves. The frames are relatively moveable in either of two directions over rollers 5, 6, Fig. 3, carried by an intermediate frame 9. The frame 1, 2 may be moved manually or by hydraulic rams 7, 8 coupled to the intermediate frame 9.
