876,829. Web slings. BRITISH WEDGE WIRE CO. Ltd. Oct. 16, 1959, No. 35052/59. Addition to 795,489. Class 78 (4). The web of a woven-wire sling is formed of closed links 10 joined by transverse rods 12, and is connected to metal handles 14, 15 by laterally spaced chain links 16. The whole of the web may be formed by links similar to the links 16, but in the form shown the web is formed of spiral links 10 welded at their ends each to one of the rods. The handle 14 can be passed through a slot in the handle 22 to form a choke sling.
