Abstract
875,804. Shaft linings. GUTEHOFFNUNGSHUTTE STERKRADE A. G. Dec. 9, 1957 [Dec. 8, 1956], No. 38278/57 Class 85 A lining for amine, a mine-hoist or other shaft consists of two coaxial steel cylinders 1, 2 anchored to an intervening lining 5 of concrete by means of lengths 4 of iron welded to the cylinders 1,2 each length comprising at least one flange and a web portion. The anchoring means 4 projecting into the concrete from the inner cylinder have the web portion directed radially, whereas the means 4 attached to the outer cylinder 2 are orientated so that the web extends in the peripheral direction. The means 4 may be of T- or I-section.
