Abstract

875,746. Mixing appliances. MORTENSEN, L. G. Sept. 29, 1959 [Oct. 8, 1958] No. 33069/59. Class 86 [Also in Groups XXVIII and XXX] A concrete mixing and spraying apparatus includes amixing chamber 14 within which is a rotary paddle member having paddles 56 which is driven continuously by a motor (not shown) through shaft 28 and worm gearing 26. The motor also drives through driving belt 34 a pump 31 supplying water to the mix and through bevel gearing 25, 27 drives an endless push-plate conveyer (see Group XXX). After mixing is completed an operator moves a lever 58 to operate a door 57 allowing the mix to pass to a delivery chamber 15 which has paddles 61 mounted on the same shaft as paddles 56 and which feed the mix to the push-plate conveyer. The mix is conveyed by the latter to a discharge fitting 62 where air under pressure is supplied through a pipe 75 to discharge the mix through a delivery pipe 74 to a sprayer (not shown).
