[Also in Group XXIII] A knife blade, particularly for cutting frozen food, has a serrated cutting edge consisting of groups 5, 5<SP>1</SP> of teeth 3, the groups being formed in alternate faces of the blade by grooves 4, 4<SP>1</SP> passing through the blade at an inclination to the plane thereof and the points of respective groups of teeth lying in lines which are spaced by the thickness of the blade. The grooves are formed as milled incisions in the faces of the blade and, in a modification, unserrated cutting edges are provided between the groups of teeth. Specification 522,138 is referred to.
