Abstract

872,764. Display cabinets. BLUMENTHAL, G. Sept. 28, 1959 [Feb. 25, 1959], No. 32853/59. Class 52(1). Hollow glass - fronted panels are detachably hinged to the front edges of shelves 7 so as to swing between a closed position and an open horizontal position in which they form extensions of the shelf. Each panel closes one of several adjacent compartments into which the shelf is divided by vertical partitions, and the panels are removable by disengaging the hooks 5 from the rods 6. The panels are intended for the display of a sample garment such as a folded and packed shirt, pyjamas or cardigan which are stacked on the shelf behind the panel. The garment is inserted through the front of the panel when the glass 4 has been extracted through a slot adjacent handle 10A.
