519,780. Shop counters. OLIN, G. Sept. 24, 1938 No. 27885. Convention date, Sept. 24, 1937. [Class 116] A shop counter 17 is divided underneath into vertical compartments by a number of vertical plates 2 embodying refrigerator elements, as described in Specification 519,779, [Group XIII]. Display trays 18 are housed in the compartments and their back-plates 27 form a closed rear wall to the counter when the trays are pushed in. The Specification, as open to inspection under Sect. 91, describes also a glass-fronted counter construction, through which the contents of the trays may be. viewed; a front shelf near the foot of the counter for customers' parcels; and an arrangement of shelves supported above the counter on a forwardly projecting support which is hollow underneath to accommodate lamps for exteriorly lighting the interor of the counter. The trays have glass bottoms. This subject - matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
