872,410. Laminates. WILSON, B. A. July 2, 1959 [July 7, 1958], No. 22730/59. Class 140. [Also in Group X] A panel for lightdiffusing ceilings comprises two sheets 1, 2 of transparent or translucent plastic such as polystyrene or polyvinylchloride, the lower sheet 1 having a plurality of spaced dimples 8 and the upper sheet 2 being united to the bottoms of the dimples. The lower sheet may be bordered by a continuous flange and the two sheets united around the entire peripheral edges. The lower sheet 1 may also be of dished section with the dimples formed in the lower wall of the dished portion. The upper sheet 2 may be of the same shape as the lower sheet and the sheets united at the bottoms of the dimples on each sheet. Holes 11 may extend through the dimples within the united areas.
