870,225. Preventing movement of patients. GUNTHER, G. A. Aug. 12, 1958, No. 25831/58. Class 81 (2). [Also in Group XX] A mould of thermoplastic or other material permeable to X-rays is provided with an openshaped recess for receiving the body and four limbs of a living creature and straps of X-ray permeable material which extend across the open side of the mould attach the mould to a support. As shown in Fig. 3, the mould 1 is held on a rigid support 17 by elastic straps 10 having adjustment devices 14 secured to hooks 13. which engage in the grooved margins 15 of the support. Alternatively (Fig. 4), the mould is provided with an apron 18 which is tied in position by tapes 19 and is suspended from hooks (not shown) by the loops of straps 22 which pass vertically around the mould.
